Here are some great things to do while you’re here:
Climb a mountain
Or climb back into bed (whichever takes your fancy). The Seaside House is at the foot of Beinn Dhubh. When you reach the summit (506m) you have far reaching views over to Skye and the Mainland beyond, or out to sea towards St Kilda on a clear day. But there are plenty of good, low-level walks too, and maps in the house to guide you on your way.
Walk on the beach
Featured in numerous travel magazines as one of the ‘top ten beaches in the world’, Luskentyre beach really needs to be seen to be believed. Miles of white sand at your disposal… and the incredible thing is that you don’t need to share it with the world and his wife! Beautiful conditions for swimming, kayaking and surfing, and plenty of rockpools too.
Look at the view
It’s everywhere, and it’s spectacular.
